I'd Like To Meet "Weird Al" Yankovic

I'm not sure what we'd talk about, but I think it would be cool. I'm listening to one of my favorite songs, “Albuquerque”, from the “Running With Scissors” album, and it made me wonder what it would be like to meet the man behind the music. I saw him at a local show, although I guess it wasn't very local because I had to drive 90 minutes to get there. He put on an awesome show, much better than many of the expensive acts I've seen lately. As I've thought more, I'm realizing that I've been listening to his music for as long as I can remember. I even named my cat “Superfly”, but decided not to get a second one. Does anyone know what I would have named the other?

Ahh, weird al is great. I just saw him on the poodle hat tour a few months ago in Cincinnati. Great show! He's been great everytime I've seen him.

Yep! I didn't end up getting a Nathaniel, which I regret from time to time.

If anyone wants to get one of their own, I highly recommend the Humane Society (info on Seattle's is at www.seattlehumane.org). You can probably google for one nearby.

I'm a HUGE Al fan, mostly because of his diligent fight to a) get UHF put on DVD and b) bending over backwards to have it a REAL DVD with extras et al, thus exceeding what I term the "Cobra Threshold," by which any DVD deemed acceptable must have the same or more features that a movie as bad as Cobra got (yep, I've got it!)
