Can't live with them. Can't live without them.

Cars!! We had both cars esentially die in the same week. One was a 15 year old Acura, and the other was a 97 Dodge Intrepid. I drove the Intrepid till the wheels were about to fall off. From 98 till 2002, I held jobs that either required driving an hour one way to work, or driving all over the state. (sometimes 6 hours a day) The Dodge had lived out it's usefulness and the mechanic had given it about a month to live. And the transmission on the Acura suddenly decided it didn't feel like venturing out beyond 2nd gear.

So in a nutshell, we got Angie a Ford Taurus SES model. I'm diggin it. It has all of the same features that the Dodge had. That's why she likes it too. It feels very similar to the Intrepid as well. Plus it has all of the 5 star safety features for Angie and Katelyn. The thing I dig the most is the 6 CD changer that is built into the dash. You don't have to get into your trunk to change CDs. It actually stores 6 of them right at your fingertips. Just keep feeding the CD player. It's pretty cool.

As for me, I picked up a PT Cruiser. It's a blast to drive! Most people either love PT Cruisers or they hate them. I'm crazy about this car. I love the retro look of it. It won't win any street races, but I don't plan on racing anyone. I haven't taken any pictures of it yet, but I googled around and found this picture of a PT in the same color. My Cruiser looks just like this one:
