Toronto SharePoint User Group Launches April 13

I'm happy to announce that the Toronto SharePoint User Group will have its first meeting on April 13.

I'd especially like to thank the folks at CDI Education (my employer) who came forward to support this community effort by providing the essentials (aka two hours of food and shelter for TSPUG members) as well as helping to get the word out.

Inaugural Meeting, April 13

6:00-6:30

Sign-in, Eat, Meet 'n' Greet

6:30-7:30

My User Group: An open discussion about the direction of the group. What would you like to see?

7:30-8:30

An Introduction to SharePoint: On this tour of SharePoint Products and Technologies, attendees will learn what SharePoint is, how it works, and how it can be customised and extended. Presenter: Eli Robillard (CDI Education)

For more details and to RSVP your place onto the guest list, head over to the site today: http://tspug.com/

See you there!

[Updated: 2005-03-15: RSVP now only available through the website to make it easier to notify everyone when the guest list is full.]

Thanks Eli.

This is called a user group, but I'm wondering if it's intended to be more of a developers group.

Can you clarify?
