Upcoming SharePoint events and conferences
Thanks to everyone in the terrific crowd at my TechDays session in Toronto, and to everyone who stopped by to chat throughout the day. While attendees will be able to get the deck, the source code and a recording of the presentation in a few weeks (steps to connect will be sent to you by e-mail), earlier versions of both the source (CodePlex:WSPSolution) and the deck (originally developed by fellow MVP Rob Bogue) are out there already. In November and December TechDays Canada continues with stops in Halifax, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and Winnipeg where local experts will be delivering the same great content seen already in Vancouver and Toronto.

Toronto SharePoint User Group Events
All TSPUG events are held on Wednesdays between 6pm and 9pm at Nexient's 2 Bloor West location [map]. Food arrives at 6, the meeting starts at 6:30 with Q&A, and the presentation begins by 7pm. We wrap up at 8:30 with a raffle and are normally out by 8:45.

Join TSPUG for a special meeting on the last Wednesday of October where Microsoft’s Savash Alic will present Canada’s first look at SharePoint Server 2010. Savash is a SharePoint loyalist who is dedicated to the product since its’ very early days in 2001 implementing solutions. He has been selling SharePoint in a technical capacity for the last 4 years at Microsoft Canada however he is a technologist at heart who started his professional career in ’94 and worked at several Microsoft Gold Partners delivering and managing projects.
