In order to use a hard drive (or a portion of a hard drive) in Windows, you need to first partition it and then format it. This process will then assign a drive letter to the partition allowing you to access it in order to use it to store and retrieve data.

When graphic designer Jeff Sickles decided to head to his neighborhood coffee shop to do some sketching, he was looking for a change of scenery. Staring at the walls of his home office day after day was doing little to inspire creativity. He had two options: bring some paper and a pencil and scan the sketches into his computer later on, or take his laptop and skip the scanning step altogether. Internet Explorer keeps an AutoComplete list. The feature is designed to make it easier for you when entering in Web information. When you type in information, Internet Explorer will suggest possible matches based on information you previously provided. You can clear the AutoComplete list at any time though, and Lockergnome spells out how.
