Although these tips have been here for a while, they’re timeless. This one was even new to me: When entering a URL into Internet Explorer - just write the name of the site and then press CTRL and Return together to add the www. and .com at the end.

When the control and menu bars change by themselves, it usually has to do with the setting that you use for the monitor type within the MCE setup. If you set to VGA or DVI they will be at the edges. If you do S-Video or Component (even if using VGA/DVI) they will be stepped in. This may be to counter the possible effects of overscan.

It’s foolproof – or so it would seems. Chris Pirillo opened the box, eager to get running on a wireless A network. At least, to have his Xbox 360 connect to my Media Center PC using the 802.11a wireless protocol. It turned out to be a nightmare.
