Happy 2009!

To all my readers, and everyone else: I hope you all have a great, productive, healthy, awesome 2009!

For me personally, 2009 will be a big year with the release of LLBLGen Pro v3, which I think will be a serious milestone in my vision about how people should approach the generic problem of Data Access in software. It will be a while before I can show anything, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Looking forward to the release.  I'm hoping to sell it where I'm working so we can use it.  Entity Framework just aint cuttin' it.  :)

@onurbiyik: hmm... Actually I like the colors a lot. Though we always change the website with every major version so we'll take your feedback into consideration! :)

I have to agree, I think the site looks pretty good. My favorite page is the customers page. It's fun knowing that I'm using the same software that major corporations are using.

The major improvements I can think of revolve around the help document. I think there needs to be some quick start guides that will allow developers to pick up LLBLGen without bogging them down with all the details.  Maybe more use case scenarios with how to acomplish different tasks. A shortcut tips sheet with sample code for the common tasks/etc.

I think a new developer seeing LLBLGen gets overwelmed with how powerful and flexible it is.

Good luck with getting v3 out the door this year and I can't wait to see it!

Frans,

Many of us are eagerly awaiting 3.0!

Having spent a fair amount of time with 2.6 now I have come to appreciate your attention to detail, and your well thought-out strategies.
