Joining the community ...

Oh my, it took me a long time, but now I'm joining the community of "bloggers". I decided to put up this one in english language, while I'll probably have another one for the german speaking audience.

Topics

I spend most of my time with .NET, mostly with Windows.Forms Applications - and from time to time I also write an article (for a german magazine, sorry for that) or a book (also in german, sorry again). Currently I'm working on a book about the .NET base class library, which should be out at the end of this year (well, as you might guess - in germany and in german language only). So .NET will be the main topic here.

PDC

I managed to join this year's PDC, and maybe we'll meet there. I'll also write some of my impressions in this blog, mainly for the german .NET Developers Group Munich which I host together with Hardy Erlinger. I hope they understand english ... :-).

About me ...

A bit of information about myself ... just for those of you who are interested in. I'm one of the german .NET MVPs, member of the (german) Codewise Community and Lead of the .NET Developers group munich. I write books and articles about .NET, and if time allows, speak at usergroup-meetings (mostly german-speaking). Next talk (if my calendar's right) is at the .NET Usergroup Vienna (that's Christian Nagel), on the 21st of october. For those of you who speak german, here's the link to my Homepage
