Win64 Vim 7.2.182
I updated the Win64 binaries of Vim at vim-win3264 from Vim 7.2.000 to 7.2.182. I'm amazed that the original binaries were downloaded over 11,000 times since last August.

Ack - Better than Grep
On a StackOverflow question about favorite Vim plugins , I learned about Ack , a replacement for grep that's smarter about searching source trees. Ack is written in Perl. The built-in :vimgrep is rather slow. It seems to have some Vim-specific overhead...
