Windows Live Writer, problem setting it to work with a just created Windows Live Space account
I have just created a Windows Live Spaces at http://guerchele.spaces.live.com/ but when I try to configure it at Windows Live Writer, a message box titled "Login failed" pops up. I am sure the address is correct because if I click "View Weblog" link, my space opens in Internet Explorer without any problem and I carefully typed both username and password. Well, I guess it is a bug which occurs with Widows Live Space accounts just created. Anyway, it is a beta software, right?

Another missing feature in Windows Live Writer
Just figured out that when I posted dbo.PartitionLeft, dbo.PartitionRight and dbo.Partition using blog's web interface, the code copied from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and pasted to the post came coloured. Tried the same, that is, copied code in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and pasted it into Windows Live Writer, but, unfortunately, code haven't kept its colouring format. Haven't tried, but I guess the same is true for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

Just found out Zone Labs is now a Check Point company
If Check Point mix companies technologies, we'll have the best from both worlds (personal and corporate). If ZoneAlarm was already one of the best, it is going to get better and better, for sure...

Something I found out about Windows's Firewall today
It does not block outbound traffic and can be switched off by another application, even by a clever worm.

GMail and HTTPMail protocol
I am willing some day GMail let users access their inboxes through HTTPMail protocol because I haven't been able to download my messages through POP3 at home and because POP3 access at work is forbidden. The only email service which uses HTTPMail protocol I know is Hotmail. If you do know any other, please, let me know about.

SkypeOut
Today I bought €10.00 in SkypeOut credits, just to test the service and see how it works. The operation was smooth and according to the site the €10.00 in credits gives me close to 10 hours of calling at the SkypeOut Global Rate. The rates are very attractive and tonight, when I got home, I'll test the service. If you have already used the service, drop me a comment and let me know your opinion about the service. My skype user id is guerchele.
