Zoom Out ZoomIt, here comes NLarge!

I have been using ZoomIt for a while now.  It's a great and free presenter tool that let you zoom on screen areas while demoing stuff but there's a new pretender to the throne: NLarge.  What's so different about NLarge?  Well, it provides you with the same features as ZoomIt and it's also free but it's using WPF for smooth zoom effects.  Cool!

Seems a tad fragile, tried it on two machines so far, failed to start on both...coincidentally, the Sysinternals folks have posted a 'direct link' site for all of their tools including Zoomit (http://live.sysinternals.com/)

NLarge shows using 40Mb in memory

ZoomIT shows 1.2kb.

Lame. Nlarge doesn't do a fraction of what zoomit does (e.g. undo, text, shapes, arrows, more colors, advanced break options,...). And it does it with 10x the RAM.

Yep, that zoom effect is quite costly!
