Upgraded to dasBlog 2.1

I just upgraded from dasBlog 1.9.7 to the latest version (2.1) and everything seams to work fine.  Here's how I did it:

  1. Downloaded the latest version from www.codeplex.com/dasblog
  2. Extracted the Zip file to a temp directory
  3. Copied everything over the existing folder except these sub folders: Content, SiteConfig, Logs & Themes

That's it!

That's good, but it seems that more people are using BlogEngine.NET now. For example, when I was choosing a blogging platform, I chose BlogEngine.NET because it was alive, while dasBlog seemed to be forgotten.

Mike:  I totally agree.  BlogEngine.NET is the way to go for new blogs.  In my case, I've been using dasBlog for the last 2 years so my fear is moving all the content to a new blog engine.
