Windows 7 Beta - UAC issue will be fixed

I can't believe you'd describe their behavior in this case as "listening". The "Evil Empire" gets shamed into doing something is more like it.

I didn't say it was a shame they fixed it, I said they only fixed it because they were shamed into it.

And things didn't go down like you claim. It wasn't:

Mistake >> Admit >> Fix

It was

Mistake >> DENY >> DENY >> Fix

You can see the same pattern on some pretty serious .NET and VS.NET bugs, minus the "Fix" part.
