Better Wi-Fi coverage with the D-Link ANT24-0230 Antenna

I was getting a somewhat OK wireless signal from my D-Link DIR-655 router in my backyard but I wanted a stronger signal.  I looked at a few possibilities and ended up trying the D-Link Xtreme N 2.4GHz ANT24-0230 Antenna.

It’s easy to install, just unscrew the router’s antennas and screw the cable in.

The antenna doesn’t boost the signal but let you locate it in a better place.  I was able to get a far better signal.  On the downside, the antenna cable is not very long at just over a meter long.
