The magic of software development!!

Ohad just direct us to a link of webcasts about building Computer Games using .NET.

This is cool and a little nostalgic for me because my first real project was a 2D computer game 8 years ago(and not IT application which is what I actually do today) - my friend and I believe in it and even try to sell it. We were using Turbo Pascal with a little help of Assembler and we was working on 486PC.

I did not publish it anywhere yet because I always thought that I could do something beneficial from it - but because I didn't I reveal it here to the world the first time. The feeling is like writing a song and publish it.

We created a Packman GAME but with two major differences that make it OUR game:
1.) instead of a Packman carton we use a small and cute little boy carton which we purchase from a graphic designer. We used several positions of this child cartoon in order to create the movement animation.
2.) And the major and important difference was the Maze we used. Instead of blocks maze we used mathematical exercises like 4+2=, 10x3= etc

We also added different level of difficulties, a top ten champions table etc.
We understand its a good game when I saw my nephew play with it and enjoy it even if he had to solve mathematics on the way.

I remember we set for hours for learning this stuff and then designing and creating the code. I still think the idea and the way we implement it is amazing.
This is what so great and megical in software development - we take our idea/s or other idea/s and make it happened.
I also learnt from this project and this is what I took with me since then, that its very important to be/stay creative and not just a technical pros.
