IE 8 is now RC1 and is available to download from here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/beta/worldwide-sites.aspx
Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta is also available for download on MSDN Subscriber Downloads.
If you have MSDN Account then go get this you should see huge Improvement in Performance. This Basically Windows 7 Server.
