Since Thursday i made a trip from Los Angeles to Seattle by car. Cause of my visits its added to 2500 miles in 6 days. I like the nature i dislike the big cities. I started in LA going down highway #1 and made a stop near Santa Barbara. Next i driving to Monterey and enjoyed the great beaches and view over the pacific.
Next day i visited Yosemite which is a great wonder of nature. My night was in Reno. Next morning i go to Lassen Volcanic National Park. I have never been before in volcanic active area. You can go through real bubbling and steaming and smelling areas. It’s a 1.6 miles walk from the road away- do it. Then i stayed in Ashland, which seems to be the cleanest city in USA. Next day i made an extensive shopping stay in Roseburg, cause o the tax free Oregon. On the highway was a sign to covered bridges, which i do, was nice. Night stay in Portland and made a short morning visit in Portland. Next station was Mount St Helens. I have heard the story about the explosion in 1980 but you can not imagine how this area looks like. I guess around 30 miles from the volcano always still the trees were broken down (all in the same direction). Night stay near Seattle and next day trip to Vancouver. Great city also it is not in USA. I had the whole trip wonderful weather.
Today i am attending Microsoft Book Publisher Summit in Redmond so my trip ends here 2500 miles later.
