NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show 2010 wrapped up yesterday in Las Vegas. Though it may seem like it was just yesterday, it’s now been 18 months since we delivered for NBC the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics using Windows Media Services, Windows Media Player and Silverlight. IIS Media Services 3.0, the IIS7 media extensions pack containing Smooth Streaming, has completed its 6-month beta development cycle and has been released to Web.
