TechEd: Developers 2006 (Barcelona)

I gave two presentations at this year's event:

DEV203 ADO.NET - Present and Future
and
DEV369 ADO.NET 2.0 Tips and Tricks

Both sessions went well, including demos.  The best part, though, was the attendee who tracked me down in the Ask The Experts area two days in a row, to discuss how some of what I presented in my session could be appied to his current project(s).   Imagine how I felt when he told me that it was worth it for him to come the conference just for the information he got from me !

This year's EMEA TechEd event was quite different from the past events that I have been attending and speaking at since 1999.  

First of all, it was in the fall season, rather than the summer. 
Second of all, since they split TechEd EMEA into 2 separate show/weeks for Developers and IT Pros, it was  a much smaller event - both in terms of attendees and in terms of exhibitors (where I really felt the difference). 
Finally, although it was back in Barcelona, it was in a brand new venue - which I though was more spacious and laid out much better.
