Introduction

This is my first post to my new weblog (thanks Scott for such a great service!)!

I'm planning on using this blog to journal and document some of the experiences that myself, and others, come across while using .NET.

To give you some background, I'm a developer at Match.com (http://www.match.com). We're currently in the midst of a migration from "ASP.OLD" to .NET. I believe alot of our experiences and architectural decisions may be interesting to some people due to the amount of traffic we receive (30-40 million hits/day), and the distributed architecture (mulitple large web farms).

So, stay tuned! Dial in, and hopefully I can pass along some interesting lessons learned, tid-bits, etc...
