GDN Workspaces Frustrations

While I think GDN's Workspaces is a great product (and I've been using it for a few months now), there are times when it really seems to just lose it's mind. At least the VS.NET add-in seems to.

For instance, yesterday I was in and working away at .Text. At the end of the day, I close down and shut down my laptop. Head home. Come in this morning, boot up, open up VS.NET, open the .Text solution, and suddenly 3 out of the 7 projects have lost their source control bindings, saying they're invalid. Despite my efforts, I could do nothing to repair them. I log into the .Text workspace and check in the files manually via the online client, and all's well.

Now to rebuild my solution.

This has happened to me a few times with nGallery. Very frustrating. Honestly, if it happens again, I'll just go to the regular GUI client, and ditch the VS.NET add-in, despite the “convenience”. And, wait for the later versions to hopefully polish up the add-in. :)
