LINQ is Language Integrated query. It is a integral part of visual studio 2008 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. It is object to database mapping technology thorough which you can query any type of collections of object,XML of database.

How does Linq to Oracle is supported or working.

The question is, when I tried working with linq and Sql Server 2005 everything is fine and works exactly as I want.

Further, I tried when preparing a demo for Microsoft Launch Wave 2008, work with Sql Server 2008, it si not supported, Linq generated an error saying that Linq on support Sql Server 9 or higher, I undersand coz Sql Server 2008 is still in CTP, so finally it's so strange that it supports oracle rather than Sql server 2008.
