Running ASP.NET application in a Virtual Machine???

Instead of launching my application in a seperate application domain, are there any potential pitfalls to running an ASP.NET application in a Virtual Machine?

I am a consultant and at my last gig, we used GSX virtual machines on a top of the line dual chip server. There were no issues at all, other than some idiot shutting down the server instead of shutting down his individual virtual server. :)
