My HelloWorld blog

Hi all fellow .NET developers!

Because I enjoyed so much all your bloggins on the .NET Weblogs, I tought it would be nice if I could enjoy all of you too. So here it is, my own very personal weblog (thanks go to Scott Watermasysk).

First, a little bit about me. My name is Jan (btw since there was some confusion in the past among non Dutch speaking people: where I live, someone whose name is Jan, is male ;-), and I live in Overpelt, Belgium. I work as a software engineer for a consulting firm. Before the .NET age, I developped in VB6, ASP, ... . And now, since .NET is here, most of my time goes to .NET.

Well, that's it I think for now (it's 22.15, and my girlfriend is looking angry...). Oh, before I forget, I've recently written an article about exposing custom classes by webservices. There are some problems when binding them to a DataGrid, so I wrote a nice class that generates at runtime a proxy class that solves this problem. You can find the article here: http://www.codeproject.com/useritems/LeaditWebServiceWrapper.asp.

Goodnight and cu soon

Jan
