Article: Microsoft to preview Whidbey toolset next month

Are they talking about the PDC bits, or is there a new version comming?

Microsoft plans to offer developers a pre-release version of its next Visual Studio .Net platform, codenamed Whidbey, next month, planning to drum up interest in its next generation Longhorn operating system, due in 2006.

vslive is next month right? I have been able to see some of the pre beta 1 bits and they have come along way. I cna't wait to get my hand on them....
