Officezealot Podcast on SharePoint featuring me!

Some time ago I had the honour to be interviewed by Chris Kunicki for the Officezealot community (look here for the Podcast download). We talked about an hour about SharePoint and related stuff and had a good conversation going on. It was great fun to do, and I hope some people will enjoy listening to it as well! Thanks for having me Chris!

Btw, if you don’t know Officezealot: it’s a very cool place if you are into Information Worker technologies like Sharepoint, Office, IBF and so on, which is run by Chris and Charles.

Hey Jan,

I've just been listening to the podcast, and you touched on something that I've been struggling with for our SP design.

We have sites for functional groups, and also sites for cross-functional project teams. Most documents & files relating to work are on sites for each functional group. However, relevant subsets of these files need to be made available to the members project team - many of whom won't have permission to access the functional group site. As you may expect, we don't want to duplicate content, and we want the links to occur "automagically".

Have you any suggestions on how to set up this kind of structure?
