CastBlaster public beta released...and it kicks ass
I may be a few hours and a couple of days behind on this announcement, but I just installed CastBlaster 0.17, and it rules. It's not got a timeline to do post-production editing, but the fact that you can bring in clips and auto-dip the sound level totally makes my day, and is the one knock I've got against Audacity.
It's a miniscule 2.37MB download, and it took me 6x as long to update my Windows Media Player on my WinXP pro box in my home studio to Version 10 as it did to install/setup CastBlaster. The trial period is a whopping 90 days, but you can only record 10 minutes of audio as an MP3. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Great job dev'ing, Mike!
