EPISODE #75 – after producing/recording/uploading an hour-long podcast and getting ready to call it a night, Joel Ross from TourneyLogic in Grand Rapids, Michigan pings me to remind me about our Skype interview (his Thursday 9am/my Thursday 11pm)…which I completely forgot about at that point.
I'm glad he did, because it was a great time with someone doing some pretty cool things in sports web app development, and someone very involved with consuming podcasts. As a bonus, because his neighbors were just leaving for work and mine were either at the clubs or already in the sack, our bandwidth was great, and we didn't get any echoes or unsavory communications.
Listen to a really cool cat comment on ASP.NET, video games, business, Microsoft's rather anemic podcast effort, and Michigan State basketball. Also, the highlight of the call is when we recite the "30 men code" from Konami's Contra. Classic.
The end result was that I'd recorded my fourth podcast in the last 40 hours (the latter two being back-to-back for three hours straight). Now that's hardcore commitment to your art, baby.
