.NET Bloggers Are Approximately 2x as Likely To Link Chris Sells Than Scoble...

...which is quite suprising at first, considering that Scoble is about 9x more likely to post at any given moment. But then again, if you follow Scoble, you should realize that he posts so much nonsense that 90% of what he writes doesn't deserve any google juice anyway ;-).

By the numbers (from achived content at the .NET weblogs archive):

Links to Chris's Blog: 484
Links to Scoble's Blog: 251

Posts By Chris: 404
Posts By Scoble: 3422

Of course, there is going to be some error margin, since I'm sure we didn't start archiving both blogs at exactly the same time, but the numbers are interesting nonetheless.

Lots of cool updates on the archives today (mainly backend work), but a few notable changes, like on the front page, where we try to give a quick overview of the most recent hot topics, for those who don't feel like reading 100+ posts every day and just want to catch the highlights.

  • Weird. You posted this at the same time that I posted that I'm going to only link to five things per day from now on (if possible). In an attempt to get my quality up.

  • I think this is really just due to the fact that Chris posts more .NET related content, where you post a ton of various items that aren't always .NET related (like RSS stuff). As a result, it makes perfect sense that a .NET only feed with a lot of subscribers with a lot of subscribers would get more linkage from the .NET community vs. a miscellaneous feed with a lot of subscribers. That said, I'm sure you get more overall linkage than Chris, but, I'm only counting links from .NET bloggers.
