Get Those Cool Microsoft Diagram Icons For Visio

The good news is Visio 2003 for Office includes all those slick Microsoft icons that you see in all their network diagrams. The bad news is, Visio 2003 for Enterprise Architects doesn't include them. So, if you want to get those slick icons, run on over and install a fresh copy of Visio for Office 2003.

Yeah, why include them in the copy of Visio that the people who will probably be *making* those diagrams have access to.

*Real* Enterprise Architects have no time for gradients on their computer icons. Those are for technical writers.

I write that in jest, but I'm willing to be someone out there is really thinking that.

Detailed network diagram also works (and you get a boat load more options).

Thanks Jesse! Found them under Basic and Detailed Network as you mentioned. I think I was decieved b/c they don't take on the gradient look until you drag them from the toolbar onto the diagram. Now I can crank out those polished presentions you always see from the Microsoft guys. Good tip!
