To solve the problem, launch the recovery console at boot menu, open a command prompt, and delete &lt;WINDOWS&gt;\System32\Drivers\sptd.sys and restart and the install should continue without bluescreening.</p><p>To anyone from MS that reads this post, please fix this in those installation updates that get downloaded to save everyone who doesn&#39;t read this post lots of blood, sweat, and tears.</p><img src="http://weblogs.asp.net/aggbug.aspx?PostID=2073618" width="1" height="1">VistaBSOD
