&lt;p&gt;It seems kind of presumptious of the technology (and designer?) to decide that only people who have the most recent supported technology/approved browsers are going to get any access to the content. &amp;nbsp; And here I thought one of the main points of putting content on the web was supposed to be that it's accessible by anyone from anywhere.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Not to mention, what is Microsoft thinking by saying &amp;quot;Go ahead use this on your Mac, but because you've got an old version of our software, you're left out in the cold.&amp;quot;?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Silverlight is never going to be a Flash-killer until it will work on any and every platform that Flash does.&lt;/p&gt;
