Salamander .NET Decompiler - Web Based Demo

Reflector is cool (really, really cool), but only decompiles a method at a time. Remotesoft has a cool online demo of their Salamander .NET Decompiler that can decompile an entire assembly at a time. It's web based, so you don't even have to download or install anything - just upload your dll and browse / download your source.

Caveat: Online version only decompiles 10 methods per class. The full version look great but costs $995ish. Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

Ever wondered what the Remotesoft guys do with that assembly and the 10 decompiled methods you provide them with? They could just contact the author and sell a version of their obfuscator :-).

True. Good thing the owner of the code I was decompiling was sitting in the cube next to me, unhappy that he'd lost his source code.

Sounds like you should spend the $1000 on a backup system or source control software :-)

We've been using this tool for over 2 years, it's awesome !!!

but Protector is even better, it makes so-called "professional ofuscators" looks miserable ;)
