Wow Jon, I don't think that I've ever disagreed with you this much.  WinPrez?  C'mon! :-)

I don't know.  The existing pronounciations are starting to grow on me:

WCF = "Wuhkif"
WPF = "Wupif"
WF = "Wiff"

I prefer to say "Indigo, the technology formally known as Windows Communication Foundation", and keep calling it Indigo.  If you're always saying "Windows Communication Foundation, the technology formerly known as Indigo", the battle is already lost.

What about WPF/E?

I prefer Indigo, Avalon than WCF & WPF. WF i dont know what it was called previously. May be WinFlow.

I prefer the campaign to simply stick with the code names (i.e., Indigo), regardless of what microsoft wants.  If Indigo and Avalon remain/become part of the vernacular, then there is little that MSoft can do except maybe realise what a piss-poor decision it was.

WF used to be called WinOE for Windows Orchestration Engine.  Wonder why they didn't shorten it to WOE...

Why is everyone so concerned about the name?  Not that I’m not sympathetic about this name issues but is it possible for a business to just continue with its services even with a boring name?  Is it possible for people to just look at the services and the offers instead of making the company name a big deal?  After all, we make a name not by what we call ourselves but with what we do right?
