i had the same thing happen to me.  My fiance goes "oh, is that the windows beta??"  I state "why yes, how did you know..?"  and her reply..."the beta [betta] fish....DUH!"

man did i feel dumb

Haha, I looked at the title and thought you were trying to be gangster "Windows 7 is bettah" and then I read the post. Now I feel dumb too.

yeah, let's hope two windows 7 beta machines won't attack each other mercilously until one dies....  :)

I would justlove to know what percentage of people using the system have figured this little gem out!

Took me a few days to fig out as well. Never did count the bubbles though.

I should have though because bubbles coming out of a fish mouth is a very unrealistic, yet common, mistake made by artists. I've personally spent many hours watching my fish and NEVER have I seen even one bubble coming out of any of their mouths. Just a FYI for any artists out there.

Technically, I don't think this is an "Easter egg" though because it is in plain sight. I'd say "Gem" is a better term to use.

This is the nicest thing about this terrible operation system...
