Philly.NET Presentation Went Great!

Last night I was in Malvern to present on Membership and Personalization in ASP.NET 2.0. It was amazing to see that a room full of ASP.NET developers had very little experience with this. Many of the presentations at conferences and user groups are about technology that can be used in the future rather than technology that is released right now. I received many interesting questions regarding Membership and Personalization. The group seemed especially interested in creating users and roles from code behind and the ASP.NET 2.0 Table Profile Provider available in the ASP.NET Sandbox. I also gave a very brief demo on Microsoft Expression Web Designer. My presentation followed a demo of Atlas by G. Andrew Duthie. As I've stated before, my demos and slides are available from my website. The only bummer from the entire trip was the fact that the Pennsylvania Turnpike had construction every 5 or 10 miles. I can't remember the last time I rode down "the pike" without running into construction. <g>
