Pandora to be Released for Windows Mobile

The full letter from Tom Conrad, CTO of Pandora, is available at http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=627. Basically, Tom has stated that a version for Windows Mobile devices will be coming out, but he refuses to guarantee when. One would assume it would be sooner rather than later and would hopefully support WMV 5, 6, and 6.1.

If Tom or anyone is looking for a beta tester... :)

I've only found one Last.FM client for Windows Mobile so far and it's horrible. The servers being used seem to be way under fed in terms of bandwidth, the interface leaves lots to be desired, and it just doesn't feel good.

You know of a better client? In the meantime I use Shoutcast or Orb (for my collection)

You can stream it to your phone without having to wait 'til Pandora has your phone...

Download SKYFIRE for windows mobile...skyfire.com

Skyfire supports java and flash media...

use the Rss feed to access you station list...Use the Rss program that comes with windows mobile.  add your station feed, as a new channel, which looks something like this...

feeds.pandora.com/.../stations.xml

now select what station you'd like to listen to and skyfire will open your station if it's the default browser...

i have the HTC Touch Pro pandora does support it...Yet thru this method i'm able to listen to my radio.

Enjoy!

Just followed the previous post from hifrom25000ft about using the rss feed on an htc touch pro.  worked perfectly just be sure to look at his example of the channel and replace his username (hifrom25000ft) with your pandora username.  I had been getting the flash local storage error prior to trying this and had to restart skyfire to get it to work, other than that...very easy and worked right away.
