Installing Remote Desktop, Remotely

Have you ever needed to connect to a PC using Remote Desktop to either check something out or to install a better remote connectivity software like VNC? A couple years ago, IntelliAdmin created an application to install remote desktop from a remote PC. I’ve used it several times and it has come in quite handy. Download it at http://www.intelliadmin.com.

How is VNC better? RDP is so much faster and responsive than VNC.

Remote Desktop is pretty old-school..There's a ton of services out there which are much easier and I'd say the best from what I've tested is Techinline http://www.techinline.com It allows you to connect to a remote machine without even having to download or install anything, unlike Remote Desktop

It depends on your network. With my VNC client, I can access my devices from my PDA, etc. Also, if I get logged out, I don't have to worry about killing my user instance with VNC.
