I have just
downloaded and used Darren's
regex tool.
This is a kick butt little app. I especially LOVE the save pattern feature.

So maybe I
shouldn't have been so surprised this actually worked but it is rather cool
being able to post to ones blog from an outlook interface. The wonderful piece
about this whole situation is the vast outlook tools one has available,
especially the spell check!!

Macromedia DWMX has always been a great HTML layout tool. It has even grown into the CSS world allowing for visually modifying the look and feel of a site. In older generations classic ASP support has never been great and coding by hand has proven to be faster and produce leaner code. It seems the same is true with ASP.NET code.
I have always written ASP.NET applications with VS.NET and done some playing with the Web Matrix. Today I took a look at a page built with DWMX and must say if you don't work with in the box that MM provides you are rather limited in what you can do. I have proven to myself once again that DWMX is a great layout tool but lacks the maturity to play with the big boys in the programming world.
Come on Macromedia at least make your tool as functional as the free Web Matrix is.
Just now got the blog set up and working. More to be posted in the near future.
