Virtual Server has been free for a while now; however, some folks prefer Virtual PC. Well, my friends, that too is free now. Come on down!
How did we ever live without virtualization software?
That's a good question! I just did a quick test and it looks like the actual files that are installed are the same as the previous version. Perhaps the old installer included the then new version of Windows Installer.
I remember that Virtual PC 2004 SP1 (that's the RTM + SP) was smaller in size than the RTM. So did you compare the size to RTM or SP1?
