Do you plan on setting up a workspace for this? I'd love to contribute (and use) it, as I was considering writing my own, since I got the new bits.

I had not thought of GDN'ing this however, I just want to add one more piece to it (posting directly into my blog) and then I'll be happy to share it. I have one guinea pig who is going to play with it a bit sooner.

Looks good. Now if you could just make the ink searchable... So I can google for the entry later. :)

ok - Jim/Bliz - you are the second person to ask. So this time I inked a word, but really the point of the ink is to be able to make a drawing. So you guys think it would be good to provide a searchable tag (ALT??) for the inked portions? I guess that makes sense - say if it's a diagram. But if it were a diagram, wouldn't it be natrual for the author to say something about the diagram in the blog? The text itself will be searchable - that text which has been recognized - eg "This is a test from" - was inked but recognized.

searchable ink?
If MS were to standardise on a VL like SVG, then it would be. ;-P

I didn't know if you were going to make the entire blog entry a handwritten image.... Which would look cool, but then you'd have to go back and type everything into an ALT tag. 2x the work (unless you wrote a program that would do the manual labor for you). :)

ah - then you've missed the point. Here is what I am trying to avoid: www.inklog.com. All graphic, illegible and no links. I am using a combo of ink and ink recognition.
