Points of interest #3

Things that have caught my attention: 

• More Information about Zune has flooded the web (neowin has some details and additional links). I'm quite happy with my ipod shuffle at the moment as my general day to day trips are no longer that long. Looks interesting but I think it will still struggle to take away market share from apple's ipod.
• VS SDK V3 (including DSL Tools V1) has been released! I've followed it's progress and would like to say congrats to the team. Hopefully now that V1 of DSL Tools has been released we will see more implementations and more articles about it and the SDK in general. http://affiliate.vsipmembers.com/affiliate/downloadfiles.aspx
  
• Rico Mariani has started a discussion about the true cost of an exception
• Wii is coming out in November (For those of you in the US). I wonder when it will make its way to the UK? I've got an XBOX 360 but I use it mainly as an extender as I still don't think it has any killer games available for it. Looking forward to Halo 3. For some Wii game pics click here

Points of interest #2

Just a quick update:

Mono have released a vmware image that you can use to see Mono in action. I've kept an eye on Mono and followed it from afar but by offering the VM they not only got me to try out Suse but also Mono on Suse. It's all set up ready for you to experiment with. Just great!
