Fun Tool: ClipboardSwitcher

Everyone has their own set of favorite tools, and I thought I'd add one of mine. Clipboard Switcher is a shareware tray notification icon that lets you switch between 10 clipboards using ctrl+1 through ctrl+0.  It's really convenient for pasting bits of code, or storing multiple url's etc.

Here's a free program that does that (well, it is limited to 5 virtual clipboards) and more:

My favorite, with (VB6) code, from vbAccelerator: http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Utilities/Goldfish/article.asp. As many clipboard items as you want, supports multiple formats. Installer lacking, you may need to d/l and register this DLL too - http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/VB/Code/Libraries/Subclassing/SSubTimer/VB6_SSubTmr_Binary.asp. Maybe he'll upgrade it to .NET some day?

Kyle- initial look (I haven't actually run the program yet) seems like you have to have different keys to replace ctrl+c and ctrl+v for each of the virtual clipboards as well? But otherwise, also a fun util.

Jon - very interesting program...I can't tell you how many times I've tried to paste code from visual studio into outlook, and got stuck with my vs colors (yellow on black) in a mail message...I'll have to give goldfish a try.
