A video gallery in Community Server? Can I do that?

Yes, you can! Not only that, Community Server has a 'out-of-the-box' built-in video gallery! This is another one of those fairly unknown features of CS. I haven't seen any trace of this feature in the User Interface.

This features, by default, lists all posts that has inline videos within. It looks like a listing of forum threads, where only the posts that has the inline videos are listed. A little primitive you might think. But you can do much better than that with just a little tweak.

José Lema, which I have mentioned before, can tell you how to do this, and make it look more like i.e. a Google Video gallery. IMO, a great CS feature that should be more promoted by Telligent!

After this you could create a new navigation tab for easy access to your video gallery.
