MSDN Blogs Errors

Looks like the MSDN Blogs website is pretty busy (or totally down).

Sadly, that's a frequent message on the site.

I don't think the performance of that MSDN site reflects favourably on Microsoft's Web server scalability. Maybe they should turn over hosting it to Orcsweb?

I think so too Ken.

Hopefully they will get into the problem soon.

Thanks.

Hi Jose,

I think MS underestimates the broader damage that these outages cause in terms of customer perception.

For example, some will question whether they should trust a critical cloud-based business solution to an infrastructure that can't keep a simple blog site running.

Hi Ken.

Not only that. It proves what the rivals claim, the platform is not good enough.

It may be the case that they patched the servers and the patch crashed the whole system or it could be a virus or some "buffer overrun" as they like to call it. In the end, the system is not working for whatever reason.

Thanks for comment.
