.NET (on Mac) Rocks!

This past week, .NET Rocks interviewed Miguel and Geoff about the status of Mono on the Mac. If you're interested in finding out the latest information regarding .NET development on the Mac, you should definitely check it out. As informative as it is entertaining (and timely, too).

In anticipation of the release of this interview, we released a few important updates for Mono, including:

  1. An updated Mono installer for Mac OS X which includes MonoDevelop and Gtk#, as well as some very nice updates to System.Windows.Forms

  2. An updated Virtual Machine image with Mono 1.2.6 based on openSUSE 10.3. This updated image includes lots of new demo applications, and comes in both VMWare and Live CD formats. More information here.
