I’m going to be speaking at an MSDN Canada Deep Dive on Smart Clients on April 22nd, in Calgary. I’m kinda excited about this since much of what I’ve been doing is in the Smart Client world – and I’m itching to tell the world. We’re (read that as “we are consulting to a company who is” ) working on an extremely cool (and quite large) Smart Client suite applications. Mike and I have also been brain storming about an enhanced Smart Client version of Stacks – that’ll be cool.
The Deep Dive will pretty much cover everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Smart Clients in 3.5 hours. We’ll cover an overview of Smart Clients and a general collection of best practices with respect to their design, development, and deployment. I’m sure I’ll go off on tangents about the operation cycle as well. I hope to have time to demo Kinitos – which is a really powerful suite of tools you can use to help streamline your Smart Client development and ongoing operations.
