I will blog more - I promise

Recently I’ve been told by many that I don’t blog enough.  That’s true, I don’t blog enough, but not because of lack of want – only because of lack of time.  To put things into perspective, I spend a great deal of my life traveling around the world presenting and teaching.  I’m also the CEO for a vibrant technology company based out of Winnipeg called Imaginet.  When I get back to my hotel room (7-8pm every day in whatever time zone I’m in) I start by checking my work email and get on messenger to help support the company remotely (as much as I can anyway).  From there, I might get a bite to eat and then I prep for the next day (getting specific answers to people’s questions, etc) or just sleep.  In between all of this I am on a plane.  To top it all off I write about 2-3 articles a month and am considering writing a new book on Team System.  Oh, I’m also doing 2 web casts a week (or so, depending on the week) on Team System customization.  Couple that with the fact that I love being a Dad and Husband – I’m finding it very hard to blog, even though I have a lot to say.  At least, that’s the list of excuses I’m going with anyway.

As the official VS.NET 2005 (and family) launch is right around the corner, I’m going to make a huge effort in the blog space.  I’ll try to post answers to the many questions that are asked of me on a regular basis.  I encourage you to go to my blog and ask me specific questions about Team System or Software Engineering Process Improvement topics – that way I can have focus on my weekly blog postings.  Tell me what you want to hear?  I’ll go there, I promise…
