My supposed math explanations turn out to be a travesty!

Well, looking over my past couple of postings it is apparent to me that the seemingly transparent merge between theory and implementation in my mind is causing some headaches for people not familiar with math. I'm guilty of basic transposition of terms to suit my own needs (transposing dx and dy in the classic slope formula), making use of conversion logic between radians and degrees without properly naming things, and much more.

While the series is meant to be shorts on explaining the math behind cool things it is turning into a math theory + implementation nightmare. From here on out, the resulting code will not be as important as the actual mathplanations and I'll focus more on math conventions and explaining those than on explaining the eccentricities of GDI+. Just remember that when writing code you may have to make some extra transformations to put everything into perspective.
