FTP on IIS - not easy!

I've been struggling with setting up secure FTP access on my Win2k-2003, IIS setup.  Scott Forsyth has created a couple of entries that hit it on the head.  Take a look at Mastering IIS FTP - Part 1 - Redirecting Users and Mastering IIS FTP - Part 2 - Virtual Directories/Physical Directories.

I gave up on IIS FTP years ago. I bought Serv-U and it has worked for me just fine, and even clever idiots like me can setup a new account in a minute or two. The IIS UI had to be coded by crack babies.
